EDITOR’S COMMENTS / REMEMBRANCE …

Dear Suzanne,
Congratulations on being one of this year’s top 5 finalists in the Non-Fiction category of Word Alive Press’s annual free Publishing Contest!
We received well over 100 submissions this year, far more than any year prior, and your manuscript really stood out to us! It was only possible to pick one winner in each category; however, we want you to know that we want to Publish and Distribute your book!
Here are some words from our editor who evaluated your manuscript, Remembrance of a Path Well lit:
“In truth, I love this book. Admittedly, it’s a little bit old school. If I had to use one word to describe it, I’d have to say it is inspiring. Something about this woman is so effortless and peaceful. It’s comprised of a number of uplifting short stories. You know, I’m struggling to find the perfect sentence to sum up my appreciation for this book, the perfect compliment, but I’m falling short. Suffice it to say that you’ll have to read it for yourself and make up your own mind. I like it “just because”. And it’s expertly written. Expertly. She’s a real pro.”
Two years ago Word Alive Inc. launched a sales and marketing campaign where we took the top 5 contest finalists and a few other key titles and created a “Canadian Authors” program that nearly 100 Christian bookstores in Canada participated in. We placed a display equipped with signage and a quantity of each book in these participating stores and introduced shoppers to some great Canadian writers! In January of 2009 we will be running this program again and we want your book to be a part of it!
As we continue to partner together with Canadian authors and Canadian Christian retailers we are seeing a constant growth in the market share for Canadian authors. What separates Word Alive Press from all other Canadian publishing companies is that we in fact have a sales team in the field selling books to stores. When our sales representatives meet with hundreds of buyers in January 2009, your book could be part of this program!
Thank you again for all the hard work you’ve put into your manuscript! May God richly bless you in all your life’s endeavours.
Sincerely,
Caroline Schmidt

Let us be grateful for the amazing truth that has been given to us through the words as written in Suzanne Claire Olaski’s beautiful book – REMEMBRANCE OF A PATH WELL LIT.
What an enormous contribution to the Christian community! What a testimony to the healing power and the love that Christ Jesus has for his sheep. A living tribute to the Glory of God. Rarely have I encountered such a deep clarity of wisdom in the great selection of tiltles authored by a Christian brother or sister. None quite compare to the truth of the word as written in ‘Remembrance.’ Make no mistake … this book has been inspired by the workings of the Holy Spirit … in truth and in light.
As i meditated on paragraphs and various sections in the book it is clear that a shift occurred … the Holiness of our Lord, our Saviour, our King of Kings has gifted me with a deeper understanding of the Gospel through her book … propelling me further into a greater understanding of those areas that hold the keys to growing in Christ … a step further in my ” surrendering all.”
I highly recommend this book not only to my brothers and sisters in Christ but also to all those in the secular world who are searching for the truth. John 14:6 – “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Praise and glory to the Highest.
In humble appreciation I am truly grateful that our Father in Heaven has blessed Suzanne with the wisdom to go out into the world to share the Good News. No doubt … a gift from God Himself for her faithfulness.
Blessings – In Christian Fellowship Aleta Jorgenson
